Countdown: 10, NINE!

9 weeks to go! I'm pregnant enough that people are now offering me their seat on the subway and the bus! That is quite the milestone in NYC.

Not everything is coming up roses though: my modified garter yoke cardi looks like crap. Entirely my fault.

I added gussets to the sides to accommodate my ever-expanding belly, but now it looks like a tent. It does not have the swinginess I'd anticipated. I'd much rather wear a regular cardigan and leave the bottom buttons open, just like for Lush & Lacy...
I'm especially bummed because I've been using my precious New Mexico Organic yarn :(
And I'd even picked a cool stitch pattern:
